Online Poker Platform: What You Actually Get
Grosvenor Poker runs under Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Ltd as part of the broader Grosvenor Casinos brand. You reach the poker section through grosvenorcasinos.com/poker or by installing the separate Grosvenor Poker: Online Games app. The app is on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, published by GROSVENOR CASINOS LIMITED, registered at Tor, Saint-Cloud Way, Maidenhead, SL6 8BN.
The online room focuses on Texas Hold’em and Omaha. Those variants appear in three main formats: cash game tables, Sit and Go tournaments, and scheduled multi-table tournaments that also include GUKPT satellite qualifiers. Grosvenor markets this as “the home of Live UK poker” - that points directly to the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, a national live series with regional stops. One player account connects you to both online poker and the live GUKPT events, so you do not need a second registration if you want to move from the app to an in-person tour stop.
| Format | Variants | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Cash Games | Texas Hold’em, Omaha | Desktop, mobile app |
| Sit and Go | Texas Hold’em | Desktop, mobile app |
| Scheduled Tournaments | NLHE, GUKPT qualifiers | Desktop, mobile app |
| Live Poker | Texas Hold’em cash games | Grosvenor venues |
Registering an Account
All account creation happens on grosvenorcasinos.com, even if you mainly plan to use the poker app. UK Gambling Commission KYC checks are mandatory, and ID verification has to be completed before any withdrawal can be processed. That part is not optional under UK rules, so it is usually easier to get it done early instead of waiting until you have a balance to cash out.
The usual flow looks like this:
- Go to grosvenorcasinos.com or launch the Grosvenor Poker app.
- Click “Join” or “Register” on the start page.
- Add your email address and choose a password.
- Enter full name, date of birth, and your UK residential address.
- When asked, upload ID documents - passport or UK driving licence are standard.
- Confirm the registration through the verification email.
- Open the Cashier, select a payment option, deposit funds.
- Head to the Poker lobby and pick a table or tournament that suits your stakes.
Rank Interactive runs all checks in line with UKGC anti-money-laundering and identity rules. If you are already planning to visit Grosvenor Casino Scarborough, staff on site can help with basic online account questions too. That kind of support is available at any Grosvenor venue, not only at the larger casinos in major cities.
Scarborough Venue: What It Is And What It Is Not
The local venue in Scarborough trades as Grosvenor E Casino Scarborough at 26-27 Newborough, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 1NA. The “E” label is important here because this site is set up as an electronic gaming casino rather than a large live poker room like Grosvenor Birmingham or Nottingham. It does not show up on Grosvenor’s official Poker Room Finder, which highlights Aberdeen, Birmingham Hill Street, Nottingham and a short list of other locations.
Even so, some third-party poker directories list a regular small game. They show a No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament on Fridays at 7 pm, with a £15 buy-in plus a £2 registration fee, played in a Double Chance format. They also mention Texas Hold’em cash games running in a compact private poker room inside the venue. All of this comes from external sites instead of the official Grosvenor Scarborough page, so phoning ahead before you travel is genuinely the sensible option.

Opening times are not fully consistent across sources. PokerDiscover lists hours as 10:00-02:00 from Sunday to Thursday and 10:00-04:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. My Local Casino instead notes 11:00-02:00 every day. Those cannot both be current, so it makes sense to call the casino to confirm when they are actually open before heading in.

Third-party listings also mention a “Casino Experience” package for around £12.50. It usually combines a bar meal, a drink, two £5 slot vouchers, and £20 in online play credit. For anyone who has not used Grosvenor Poker online before, that can act as a low-stakes way to try both the venue and the digital side.
